“ Dear All, I hope you are safe, healthy and recharged. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education. As the COVID-19 pandemic worsened in countries across the globe, our government took the precaution of closing schools in an attempt to contain the spread of the virus. Schools were struggling to replace this time in class with online learning and home schooling. Our school also took up the task of involving online classes facilitated by teachers and parents. We have completed the whole course. I hope our students find no much difference of learning in normal time and covid-19 period if the regular attendance is maintained. All these happened due to the availability of information and communication technologies (ICT) which makes it possible to continue instruction and learning when physical interactions are no longer possible. Students need the support of parents to engage with their learning and reduce anxiety in these stressful times. It is important to acknowledge how blessed we have been here in Mother’s Pride Academy,Kwasiphai to be able to complete the whole course with our students in virtual classrooms and meeting daily with their teachers. When I look back over the year, we had just over Nine and half months of Learning at Home in different adjustable and convenient time schedule and did not miss a day of instruction. We were able to provide the effective Atal Tinkering class online. I hope that students of Grade 6-10 students enjoyed and acquired the necessary knowledge and skills of their standards and beyond. Moreover, web-development and mobile app development course were introduced at the 6-10 grade level. Our students were fortunate to take part in the National level App Development Challenge 2020. I am sure you will join me in congratulating and thanking our Mentors and teaching staffs for their dedication and commitment to our learning program. After all, learning is a partnership between parents, school teaching staff and students, and rejoicing in our achievements together is a special part of venture. I believe that EVEN IF OUR STUDENTS ARE NOT IN THE CLASSROOM, OUR TEACHERS CAN STILL TEACH ENSURING LEARNING UNDISRUPTED WHEN CLASSES ARE DISRUPTED. I thank you for your support and encouragement throughout this year. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the school online and offline.
